WEOP Launches BLOC to Help Women Explore Ownership, Economic Development, and Long-Term Wealth

The Women’s Entrepreneurial Opportunity Project, Inc. (WEOP) is proud to announce the launch of Building a Legacy of Ownership & Community (BLOC), one of several innovative 2026 initiatives designed to advance WEOP’s mission of promoting women’s economic power, business growth, and community impact.

Created as an educational and action-oriented initiative, the project is designed to help women explore pathways to ownership, real estate development, economic advancement, and long-term wealth creation. The initiative reflects WEOP’s ongoing commitment to equipping women with the knowledge, exposure, networks, and resources to drive economic progress.

The inaugural session featured two dynamic and influential speakers: ZaZa Davis, Founder of Zeal Deal Capital, and LaToya Kyle, Vice President, Southeast Region, Low Income Investment Fund (LIIF). Both of the speakrs are helping move million-dollar projects, investments, and opportunities that shape communities, expand access, and contribute to economic growth.

Imagine being in a room filled with women who share similar goals, aspirations, and a commitment to building something bigger, women who are ready to learn, collaborate, and move toward economic progress together. That is the energy and purpose behind the BLOC project.

According to WEOP leadership, it was important for women such as ZaZa Davis and LaToya Kyle to help lead the opening conversation because they represent the type of vision, leadership, and economic influence the initiative seeks to inspire in participants. Their work demonstrates what is possible when women are positioned to lead, invest, develop, and shape the future of communities.

Strategic partners supporting the initiative include TruFund Financial Services and Pinnacle Financial Partners, organizations committed to expanding access to capital, financial tools, and business growth opportunities for underserved communities and entrepreneurs.

BLOC is a six-month program designed for a selected cohort of twenty women. Through a series of workshops, field trips, simulated projects, and guided learning experiences, participants are exposed to new possibilities, connected to industry professionals, and equipped with practical knowledge. The program helps women see themselves not only as business owners, but also as investors, developers, decision-makers, and community builders.

As WEOP continues to launch innovative projects in 2026, BLOC stands as a bold example of the organization’s mission in action, advancing women’s economic power through knowledge, opportunity, ownership, and collective progress.
