ABOUT THE CIRCLE

Overview & Purpose

The Circle is designed for in-person meetings, organized and spearheaded by our members. It is a space where women in our community can gather, connect, collaborate, and engage in meaningful conversation.

In a world where we are often glued to our mobile phones, The Circle offers an opportunity to look up, be present, and truly connect with one another. The purpose is to share resources, exchange ideas, and spark collaborations within the WEOP community.

This is not a selling space, but a sharing space, a place to bring your best ideas, ask thoughtful questions, and contribute to the collective knowledge of the group.

Examples of What You Can Do

· Focus Groups & Conversations: Test ideas, gather insights, and get real-time feedback.

· Book Signings & Knowledge Sharing: Use the gatherings to introduce your book, innovation, or research to others.

· Educational Sessions: Host a short talk or mini workshop to teach and empower others.

· Bartering & Collaboration: Explore opportunities to exchange services or partner on projects.

· Resource Exchange: Share tools, strategies, and information that can help others move forward.

Guidelines for Engagement

· Be Present – Minimize distractions and stay off mobile phones during sessions.

· Engage with Purpose – Ask thoughtful questions, listen actively, and share ideas openly.

· Respect the Space – Remember, this is about sharing and supporting, not pitching or selling.

· Contribute Value – Bring resources, solutions, or perspectives that can help the group.

· Collaborate Freely – Be open to new connections, partnerships, and ways of working together.

This creates a culture of generosity and collaboration, where everyone leaves with something more valuable than what they came with: new insights, meaningful connections, and inspiration.

How It Works

WEOP provides the space for your sessions at our Grant Park location. The following provides an overview of the process:

· Make a Request – Call our office to let us know you’d like to use the space.

· Complete a Form – We will forward you a short request form. Fill it out and submit it back to us.

· Topic Review – Make sure your topic aligns with the overall goals of the Circle: connection, collaboration, and meaningful conversation.

· Promote Together – Once approved, you promote your event and we will also promote it through our social media channels to maximize engagement.

· Enjoy the Space – There is no cost to you for using the space—what we ask in return is your dedication and commitment to making your session a success.
