Author Talk & Book Expo: WEOP Shines the Spotlight on Inspiring Authors during Women’s History Month
Women’s History Month was splendidly highlighted by a series of empowering WEOP events that brought together women from all walks of life to revel in their collective strength, empower and uplift each other. A powerhouse in elevating and celebrating the success of women in business, WEOP spared no effort in showcasing the exceptional talents of its diverse group of members.
One such standout event was WEOP’s “Author Talk & Book Expo” held at the esteemed Buckhead Public Library. Featuring 11 inspiring women authors, the event was a non-stop bask in the accomplishments of female literary brilliance. Additionally, it created an amazing platform for small business owners to network and amplify their brands.
The scope of topics covered by the business-savvy authors was extensive, ranging from thought-provoking discussions on financial matters to time management, business tips, SAT preparation for high school students, career goal-setting, friendships, staying motivated, and so much more! With the incredible selection of books and expert authors, there was indeed something for everyone. To top it off, the event also featured Her Biz Planner, a journal created by WEOP’s visionary founder, Antoinette Ball, as a valuable tool for all women entrepreneurs looking to take their businesses to the next level.
WEOP’s “Author Talk & Book Expo” presented not just an opportunity for the authors to self-promote and share their work, but also gave them a chance to connect with their literary peers and expand their networks in the industry. For women small business owners, this emphasized the value of establishing themselves as subject matter experts and thought leaders in their industry. What better way to do this than by authoring a book in your area of expertise? It presents a remarkable way to promote your work while equally developing additional streams of income.
At WEOP, we take immense pride in showcasing the extraordinary talents of our member network, and the “Author Talk & Book Expo” was just one among the many more to come. As we eagerly look forward to our next gathering, we encourage you to subscribe to our newsletter to stay updated on our running calendar of events! If anything, this is just one more substantial reason to become a proud member of WEOP, a thriving community of like-minded businesswomen.
If you’re looking to draw more inspiration from our impactful authors, you can check out their work and show your support by buying a book. They share their knowledge and expertise as well as invaluable insights through their published works.
